The UVA Issue

Today, a few painters were covering up a short-lived piece of Bible verse on the east side:

the skies proclaim the work of His hands. -Psalm 19:1 Thx Beta

You can see that in addition to a roller, they are  using the popular “bag method,” where a bag over the hand substitutes for a paintbrush.  Cheap and easy!

Later on, their painting was done, showing a birthday message:

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY AShLey ♥ =) tweet at her @abuss_stop

On the north side, you can see some people gathered around a section of blue paint.  They were shooting the cover for Cville Weekly:

The painter did an exemplary job on the lettering (take note students).  It’s possible my legs may be on that cover, as their photographer had me and a few other people walk by the painting while he took shots.  We’ll see.

Meanwhile, the paint on the west side continued to peel and sag even more:

West side paint continues to peel.

Last shot of the day is down the train tracks looking west:

A couple people walking down the tracks.

If you look closely, you can see there are a couple people walking down the middle of the tracks.

————Update (5/14)————

It looks like Cville’s UVA Issue is out.  They did use the Beta Bridge picture, but someone else’s leg.
