Today, a few painters were covering up a short-lived piece of Bible verse on the east side:
You can see that in addition to a roller, they are using the popular “bag method,” where a bag over the hand substitutes for a paintbrush. Cheap and easy!
Later on, their painting was done, showing a birthday message:
On the north side, you can see some people gathered around a section of blue paint. They were shooting the cover for Cville Weekly:
The painter did an exemplary job on the lettering (take note students). It’s possible my legs may be on that cover, as their photographer had me and a few other people walk by the painting while he took shots. We’ll see.
Meanwhile, the paint on the west side continued to peel and sag even more:

If you look closely, you can see there are a couple people walking down the middle of the tracks.
It looks like Cville’s UVA Issue is out. They did use the Beta Bridge picture, but someone else’s leg.
