The annual Virginia Film Festival is happening this weekend:
Their painters clearly had no respect for the request of DoDeutsch organizers to keep their Berlin wall recreation up all week (I would have been surprised if it went untouched):
On the east side, and ad for Camp Kesem, a college student run summer camp for kids with parent that has cancer:
This is another perennial painting on the bridge, and yes those girls on the left are giving away free pizza (unrelated to Camp Kesem). This explains the mystery table I saw last Wednesday. The girl said she is there every Wednesday, so if you want free pizza, go to Beta Bridge around 5pm on Wednesdays. Seriously.
The Camp Kesem people must have kicked over a paint can in the process, because they covered a huge part of the sidewalk in blue-green:
I have noticed paint creeping farther and farther off the walls recently and it makes me wonder how the entire sidewalks aren’t covered after the tradition has been going on so long.
