Color Soup

The bridge has stayed the same, so for lack of any other content, here are some close ups of the splatter work done the other day.

As a side note, the colors on these should be quite vibrant, but I noticed they look very flat and muted on WordPress (compared to the same monitor as they were viewed on before being uploaded).  My instincts tell me it’s WordPress’ fault, so I’ll take it out on them.  When uploading them to WP, my suspicions are raised by a note in the status bar that says “crunching.”  It doesn’t seem to matter what color profile I embed on the images.  It could be something with CSS formatting (still WP’s fault), although I noticed that when clicking the image to go to the full size version, using Safari 4 the colors look fine, but using Firefox 3 they still look bad.  So is it a browser issue?  If you are a digital color management expert, please help!  More complaints about in the future…
